Police release sketch of suspect in attempted luring of teen girl on Long Island

UNIONDALE, Long Island (WABC) -- Police in Nassau County are searching for a possible sexual predator who tried to lure a young girl into his car earlier this week.

Officials say a man drove up to a 13-year-old girl on Monday in a light blue four-door vehicle and offered the teen a ride.

After the man gestured for the girl to get into the back seat, she ran in the other direction.
