PHILADELPHIA, PA (WABC) -- Lisa Lobree was trying to catch some sunshine and get a little exercise when something fishy happened at Philadelphia's Fairmount Park on Labor Day morning.
A catfish, she says, fell from the sky and slapped her right in the face as she was walking underneath a tree.
A friend who was walking with Lobree found the animal on the ground.
"It bounced off," she said. "Annie sees me go down, turns around, looks and goes, 'Oh my God! It was a fish.'"
Lobree said she remembers the smell as she was hit.
"I smelled disgusting," she said.
The big fish story did a little damage, as Lobree suffered a small cut to her face and some swelling after the five-pound, 18-inch catfish came hurdling towards her face.
However, she admitted she can see the humor in it.
The friends believe a bird probably dropped its lunch.
