PHILADELPHIA -- Police have arrested an armed robbery suspect after a chase that began in Oaklyn, New Jersey and ended in Philadelphia.
The pursuit began around 8:00 p.m. Monday.
Police say a white van left Oaklyn and went over the Walt Whitman Bridge.
The vehicle then went on I-95 south in Pennsylvania, off at Bartram Avenue, back on I-95 North, off at Broad, back onto I-95 North and back over the Walt Whitman into New Jersey.
From there the van went north on I-295 and off at the White Horse Pike in Barrington.
After driving on side streets, the van then got back on the I-42 freeway North, then to I-676 North into Camden and then went south on I-676.
The driver stopped for a moment outside the Deptford Mall before continuing onto the Ben Franklin Bridge into Philadelphia, again.
The vehicle is believed to be connected to an armed robbery in Oaklyn, NJ.
