
CORONA, Queens (WABC) -- One person was burned in an apartment fire in Queens early Thursday morning.
Fire burned through the roof of the building on 44th Avenue in Corona just before 12:40 a.m.
The victim was rushed to Harlem Hospital. Their condition is not yet known.
It took about an hour to get the flames under control.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Lithium-ion batteries were recovered at the scene, but it is unknown if they were connected to the fire.
