Beloved children's sing-along series 'Gracie's Corner' coming to Disney+, Disney Jr.
The animation shorts bring fun and educational singing and dancing for the whole family to enjoy
LOS ANGELES -- A new musical friend is coming to play on Disney Jr.!
The children's YouTube video series "Gracie's Corner" will join Disney+ on June 15, with a special premiere on Disney Jr. at 7:00 a.m. EDT/PDT. New original shorts and videos are also on the way, releasing throughout the rest of the year.
The online series was created by Dr. Javoris Hollingsworth, Dr. Arlene Gordon-Hollingsworth and Graceyn "Gracie" Hollingsworth to help bring diverse cultural representation to young audiences. Videos reimagine nursery rhymes with sing-alongs, as well as featuring original educational songs that are fun for all ages.
"'Gracie's Corner' reflects so much of what families already love about our preschool lineup - music, heart, playful learning and characters that kids want to engage with again and again," said Ayo Davis, president, Disney Branded Television.
The series has already won multiple NAACP Image Awards, as well as selling out multiple stops on last year's national tour "Gracie's Corner Live." Now with more singing and dancing on the way and in collaboration with Disney Jr., the series can be enjoyed by even more families!
"Gracie's Corner" premieres June 15 on Disney Jr. and Disney+.
