2 hurt in high-rise apartment building fire in Bronx

MELROSE, Bronx (WABC) -- Firefighters battled a fire in a high-rise apartment building in the Bronx.

Video from the Citizen app showed flames on the 19th floor of the building at Concourse Village East in Melrose.

The fire broke out just after 5:45 a.m. Friday.

At least two people were being treated for minor injuries.

There was no immediate word what caused the fire.

Police say the incident happened at the 110th Street subway station on the platforms of the 2/3 train line at 7:45 p.m.
