Coronavirus News: NYPD personnel directed to wear black mourning bands
NEW YORK (WABC) -- The number of NYPD members killed from coronavirus is now greater than the number of members killed on 9/11.
27 members have died from the coronavirus.
The department is now directing all personnel to wear black mourning bands across their shields in their honor.
