Police: Woman stabbed man on board train in Queens

RICHMOND HILL, Queens (WABC) -- Police are searching for a woman who stabbed a man on board a train in Queens.

The attack happened around 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the 111 Street Station in Richmond Hill, Queens.

Police say a woman stabbed the 33-year-old man twice in the thigh then fled the southbound J train once it arrived in Brooklyn ant the Norwood Avenue Station near Fulton Street.

The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Police have not revealed if the suspect and the victim knew each other before the attack.
