ASTORIA (WABC) -- A three-alarm fire was placed under control on Saturday afternoon at a building on Crescent Street in Queens.
According to the FDNY, nine firefighters and one civilian had minor injuries.
The fire started around 11:15 a.m. and was under control by 1 p.m. It was contained to the fourth, fifth and sixth floors, and the attic of the six-story residential apartment building.
Crescent Street was closed from 31st Avenue to 32nd Avenue while fire officials were on the scene. The city Department of Buildings is on the scene.
The American Red Cross has is helping 25 people who were displaced by the blaze.
