FDNY comes to rescue of 2 stuck in Queens floodwaters

FLUSHING, Queens (WABC) -- There was quick action on Saturday by the FDNY to save two people stuck in Queens floodwaters.

Officials say three disabled cars got stuck inside rising waters on Linden Place near the Whitestone Expressway in Flushing earlier in the day.

Crews were forced to bring in a boat to safely take two people to dry land.

No one was injured.
