Police: Teen charged with trying to rape woman inside Stuyvesant Town apartment

STUYVESANT TOWN, Manhattan (WABC) -- A teen is under arrest after he is accused of trying to rape a woman at the Stuyvesant Town apartment complex in Manhattan.

17-year-old Aaron Kisch of Piscataway is charged with attempted rape, strangulation, assault, burglary and sex abuse.

Police say Kisch followed a 22-year-old woman into the vestibule of her building on East 20th Street on Sunday morning, and attacked her.

The victim was not seriously injured.
