NEW YORK (WABC) -- The Cafe Mocha Radio Show is shining a spotlight on women who are redefining what perseverance looks like at its 7th Annual Salute Her Awards.

Several women were honored Thursday night.

Eyewitness News Anchor Sade Baderinwa was one of them, receiving an award for being a child advocacy champion.

Baderinwa gives a special thank you to Sheila Eldridge, Loni Love, Angelique Perin and Yo-Yo for the honor.

Speaking of awards, co-anchor Bill Ritter also received a national award Thursday for promoting organ transplants and donations.
