The hit Neymar took from the knee of Colombian Juan Camilo Zuniga during their 2-1 World Cup quarterfinal win won't cost Barcelona dearly -- at least from an economic standpoint, according to Marca.

FIFA's club protection programme stipulates that the club fees for any injured player will be paid by FIFA after the 28th day of the injury, meaning the insurance for Neymar will kick in on Aug. 2.

Neymar's salary as stipulated is 5.1 million euros, which FIFA used as a base to determine its estimated 13,972 euro per day payment for a total of 238,000 euros.

Brazil doctor Jose Luiz Runco has said that Neymar will be out for 40 days, but should have no lingering effects from the injury once he returns to action. Runco said the healing period is expected to last from three to six weeks and nothing apart from painkillers, a special belt and rest will be necessary for the Barcelona man to recover.

Brazil's federation has been in touch with Barcelona's physician, Daniel Medina, who is also monitoring the injury.
