Police arrest man who allegedly stole stroller from Fort Greene stoop

FORT GREENE, Brooklyn (WABC) -- The thief who allegedly stole a stroller off of a Brooklyn stoop in broad daylight was arrested by police on Monday.

Authorities say that 23-year-old Jonathan Rios is the man seen in surveillance video taking an expensive stroller from right outside a home in Fort Greene last Thursday afternoon.

The strollers owner, Sean Crotteau, had only left it outside his home for a few minutes before the thief made his move.

The UPPAbaby stroller, along with an infant blanket and warmer inside it, was valued at just over $1,000.

Rios was charged with grand larceny.
