7 train service resumes with delays after water condition

NEW YORK (WABC) -- Due to a water condition at Grand Central-42nd Street, 7 train service was temporarily suspended between Hunters Point Avenue and Times Square-42nd Street in both directions.

Times Square-bound trains were terminating at Queensboro Plaza or Hunters Point Avenue.

Customers were advised to take the N, Q or R trains as an alternative and are advised to allow additional travel time.

Service resumed around 4 p.m.
