TARRYTOWN, New York (WABC) -- All lanes on the Tappan Zee Bridge are open ahead of schedule following [url HREF="[br /]http://abc7ny.com/traffic/tappan-zee-crane-collapse-causes-massive-traffic-backups/1433299/" TARGET="" REL=""]this week's crane collapse[/url].[br /][Ads /][br /]Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that all seven lanes will reopen to traffic at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.[br /]In order to minimize impacts to motorists during peak travel periods, expedited repairs were performed around the clock with roadway repairs conducted overnight Thursday into Saturday.[br /][Ads /][br /]On Tuesday, traffic was halted for hours after a crane collapsed onto the bridge. Remarkably, no one was seriously hurt.
