13-year-old critically injured after being struck by SUV while crossing street in Harlem

HARLEM, Manhattan (WABC) -- Police say a 13-year-old boy was critically injured when he was struck by an SUV in Harlem Wednesday afternoon.

The accident happened at 2 p.m. at 135th Street and 5th Avenue.

The boy was crossing the street when he was struck.

He was taken to Harlem Hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries.

The driver stayed at the scene. Police are investigating.
