New Jersey Transit's Pascack Valley Line resumes service after earlier suspension

PARK RIDGE, New Jersey -- New Jersey Transit Pascack Valley line has resumed service after an earlier suspension due to police activity.

Service was disrupted in both directions during the morning commute after a train out of Hoboken struck someone who they believe was laying on the track in Park Ridge, New Jersey.

There were 20 passengers on that train who were not injured.

Bus service was offered as an alternative.
