Pentagon confirms government once ran a UFO investigation program

NEW YORK (WABC) -- The Department of Defense says the US government once ran a program investigating UFO's.

The program was called "The Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program." otherwise known as A-TIP.

Now videos from the program are being made public.

The Pentagon says it ended in 2012 after spending roughly $22-million.

However, the former director of the program tells ABC News the program still existed two months ago when he left.
