NEW YORK (WABC) -- A Red Flag Warning is in effect for the entire area on Saturday with critical fire weather conditions expected.
The warning means dry and windy conditions will be favorable for the rapid spread of fires.
Wind will be highest on Saturday fueling the fire risk, perhaps gusting 35+mph. Temperatures stay above average all weekend.
A shower can't be ruled out Monday, primarily north, then a much better chance of meaningful rain arrives Wednesday night into early Thursday.
