New York City Medical Examiner identifies another World Trade Center victim

NEW YORK (WABC) -- Nearly 14 years after the World Trade Center attacks of September 11th, the New York City medical examiner has made a new identification of a 9/11 victim.

Matthew David Yarnell, of Jersey City, was a 26-year-old vice president of technology at Fiduciary Trust International.

He is the 1,640th person to be identified.

The identification was made through retesting of DNA reference samples of remains recovered during the original recovery effort from 2001 to 2002.

The number of identifications from the terror attack is now 1,640, out of 2,753 people reported missing.
