Three alarm fire in Forest Hills

Several residents displaced by blaze

Some Queens residents are starting off the new year without a home after a three-alarm fire tore through their apartment building.It happened just after midnight Tuesday morning. The fire broke out on the fourth floor of a six story building at 68-64 Yellowstone Boulevard in Forest Hills.

Four firefighters and one resident all have minor injuries.

The Red Cross also provided assistance and shelter for the displaced residents.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
