The incident happened on Richmond Hill Road in the New Springville section.
The suspect is described as a black man, 30 to 40 years old, 190 to 200 pounds, and was last seen wearing a blue hoody sweater and blue jeans.
Tthe bus stop is located about quarter-mile from both the Staten Island Mall and the 122nd Precinct satellite police station.
