Man robs NJ post office

JERSEY CITY Authorities say the suspect hit the post office on Bergen Avenue.

Police say a lone gunman brandishing a silver colored handgun and wearing a light blue handkerchief mask and light blue industrial gloves entered the post office from the rear dock area. He reportedly confronted several employees, whom he forced into a rear office, while he made away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was hurt.

The assailant is described as a black or Hispanic male, about 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-10, slender build, wearing dark boots, a dark hoody-style jacket and a dark sweatshirt with gold embroidered letters which read: "King Of..."

Inspectors are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator.
