The hospital in Ridgewood, where donor David F. Bolger lives, is set to announce the gift this morning.
Bolger is president of Bolger & Co. Inc., which has real estate holdings throughout the country.
He's previously given to many charities and institutions, including gifts to Valley Hospital to expand its pediatric and adult emergency departments and to make it the first in the state with a high-tech portable CT scanner.
Valley says it will use the $30 million for improvements to its main campus.
