Teenage girl killed in horrific accident

Three of her friends also injured
SELDEN, LI Police say the teenagers were driving in a white convertible in Selden just after 2:30 a.m. when the car they were riding in collided with an SUV.

The force of the impact was so great that their car ended up on top of the other vehicle.

Fourteen-year-old Alora Williams was killed.

Police say the driver, identified as 18-year-old Marco Diaz, ran a stop sign.

The car collided with a Chevy Blazer and ended up on top of it.

One neighbor began pulling out passengers from the car, which had burst into flames.

"We pulled out a third person and it was a little girl," neighbor Randy Caparco said. "And unfortunately, when we pulled her out, I knew she wasn't going to make it."

Police say it is nothing short of a miracle that any of the teens survived.

Two other passengers were transported to Stony Brook University Medical Center by Selden Rescue.

Fourteen-year-old Julian Coppola was treated for a head laceration and non-life-threatening internal injuries, while 15-year-old Danielle Alotta was treated for serious head and body trauma.
