Falling cement crushes car

BROOKLYN - The cement fell from a scaffold hitting the car right before they were going to get in.

The Department of Environmental Protection workers were walking to their car on Court Street in downtown Brooklyn when the bucket suddenly fell from a building.

It slammed into the roof of the vehicle, crushing it and blowing out the windows.

The men say the impact sounded like a bomb blast.
