The victims were identified as 50-year-old Mark Schwartz and his 48-year-old wife, Christina-Maria Petrowski-Schwartz.
They were lawyers who specialized in divorce and real estate work.
Authorities initially suspected suicide because they had gunshot wounds to the head. Upon further investigation, police determined shell casings recovered at the scene proved otherwise. Investigators also did not locate a weapon inside the house.
Neighbors say the couple had two grown children who did not live in the home with them.
