Bandit targets elderly women

The NYPD is asking for help catching a thief targeting elderly women. Investigators have released surveillance photos of a person wanted for questioning in regards to two robberies.

The person in the photos was using a credit card belong to one of the victims.

The first attack happened at 11:25 Saturday morning. An 81-year-old woman was walking near Edison Street and Midland Avenue when the suspect ran up behind her, pushed her and took her pocketbook.

Then on Monday at approximately 5:00 p.m., an 80-year-old woman was walking in the near 134 Reno Avenue when the suspect pushed her to the ground and took her pocketbook.
