Gas prices on the way down

NEW JERSEY In the last four weeks they've dropped 20 to 30 cents.

In the United States demand is down four percent and experts believe the days of excess are over and conservation has become a way of life.

The price of a barrel of oil was at an all time high of $148 just four weeks ago, now its down to $115 per barrel. That represents a drop of twenty percent.

Analysts say the decline in prices is a direct result of government keeping closer tabs on gas speculators and believe the price could drop another 25 to 30 cents by the time we get to labor day.
