Double shooting in Harlem

HARLEM Police say the victims were hit outside the Polo Grounds at 2971 Eighth Avenue just before 3 a.m. They were apparently involved in a dispute when a gunman opened ifre.

Eyewitness News is told a 22-year-old man was shot once in the back and pronounced dead at the scene. And a 24-year-old man was shot in the stomach and rushed to Harlem Hospital. He is reportedly in stable condition.

The gunman fled the scene. No arrests were immediately made.
