Child in Bronx dies after 5-story fall

BRONX Chelsea Maldonado died at New York-Presbyterian Hospital Columbia this morning after last night's fall from 1245 Grandview Place.

Maldonado sustained a collapsed lung, broken pelvis and bleeding on the brain in the fall.

She fell from the fifth-floor window at around 6:30 p.m. last night. It appears she may have climbed over a window guard and fallen to her death.
