Two arrested after chase, kidnapping

A police chase involving a kidnapping ended with two arrests in Brooklyn Sunday.The incident happened in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section and came to its end at the intersection of Marcus Garvey Boulevard and Decator Street. A dark Nissan was at the center of the chase.

Police say a 53-year-old man was abducted Saturday afternoon near Pacific and Albany avenues. That man was found in the trunk of the car.

One man was arrested at the scene, but police say another suspect tried to escape on foot and was arrested a block away.

The names of the suspects, the charges and the motive have not been released. Police say the kidnapped man was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he is recovering. He apparently has 13 prior arrests.
