The accident took place on Broadway in Greenlawn. Fuentes' Toyota was broadsided by a van driven by Lois Molloy, according to Newsday.
Fuentes was taken by Greenlawn Fire Department ambulance to Huntington Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Molloy was treated and released from Huntington Hospital with a foot injury. Molloy's 13-year-old daughter, a passenger in the van, was not injured in the crash.
