Spitzer gives 'Newsweek' interview

NEW YORK In a new interview with "Newsweek" magazine, Spitzer speaks in detail about the prostitution scandal that forced him to step down.

He said one of the hardest things to accept was the idea that he was replaceable.

Spitzer admitted he felt "a terrible sense of loss" after leaving office, feeling isolated in his Upper East Side home.

He also said the public fallout from his actions is a burden he has to carry, and he has no one to blame but himself.
