Schumer warns of fake Springsteen tickets

NEW YORK Tickets for Springsteen's three concerts at Giants Stadium this fall sold out in minutes on Monday.

The New York senator says more fans managed to buy face value tickets this time.

Fans trying to buy tickets in February were redirected from Ticketmaster's site to a subsidiary charging up to 50 times the tickets' price. Ticketmaster blamed a software glitch and changed its online sales process.

Schumer is introducing legislation requiring ticket resellers to register with the Federal Trade Commission. The bill also bans resellers from buying tickets during the first 48 hours of a sale.
