Kitty survives 40 mi. ride in car wheel

Kellyanne Davis says earlier this week she was at her Niagara County alpaca farm, home to more than a dozen cats.

While getting lunch the next day, she heard a strange sound coming from the front end of her 2002 Buick La Sabre. She mentioned it to her co-workers, who checked out her car and discovered a black-and-white kitten stuck inside the right front wheel well.

Davis suspects the kitty crawled into the wheel while she was visiting the farm.

She says the lucky feline survived a 40-mile ride from the farm outside Niagara Falls to her home in the Buffalo suburb of Amherst.

She says Miracle is doing fine.
