It was bumper to bumper at times.
All of these people, hopefully, mean big business.
Marilou Halverson, a spokesperson for Jenkinson's Boardwalk, says "You know people were saying it's going to be the gas prices, the economy, but you can't even gauge that because the weather did probably worse than all of those combined."
June is usually a great month, but now, everyone is trying to salvage what is left of the summer.
Shops are filling up, people are eating, playing games and paying to get on the beach.
The rain wasn't gone for long though.
It came through for a brief afternoon shower.
Once it stopped, it was back to business and fun in the sun at the beach.
