When they arrived, they found the child unconscious with injuries consistent with a fall. Emergency medical services responded and took the child to Lutheran Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
A police spokesman said the window did not have safety bars.
On Wednesday, an 8-year-old girl survived a fall from a seven-story window in the Bronx. She was hospitalized in stable condition.
