According to the criminal complaint released today, Bishop told the officers who arrested him:
"Yes that's me in the pictures, my private parts fell out, I looked down and it was out, it just popped out. I was trying to put it back. I deeply apologize for what happened. I do admit the whole truth."
Bishop was held on $1,500 bail following his arraignment in Manhattan Criminal Court. His next court appearance was set for Aug. 19.
Bishop, who has 64 prior arrests, faces 90 days in jail.
Meanwhile, a police officer who blew off the woman that took cell phone pictures of Bishop is being interviewed by NYPD Internal Affairs Unit investigators today.
The officer told the woman that the incident "was not a police matter." She told her to call 311.
