Police hope to ID woman hit by train

BRIELLE, N.J. Investigators are hoping a sketch of a woman who was struck and killed by a New Jersey Transit train in June of 2008 will help to identify her.

She was hit just south of the Manasquan Station in Brielle.

She is described as a five-foot-four, white female with short brown hair and blue-gray eyes.

The woman was also wearing a distinctive wooden religious bracelet and carrying a tote bag.

Anyone who might be able to identify the woman is asked to call 1-888-TIPS-NJT or 973-378-6565. Callers should refer to case number 2008-12490.
