Prosecutors say Santiago posted the messages on Monday and Tuesday. Users of the site who saw the messages reported them to St. John's officials, who contacted police.
Prosecutors say Santiago was arraigned Wednesday on one count of making a terroristic threat. A judge ordered him held on $6,000 bond or $2,000 cash bail.
