St. John's student accused of threats

NEW YORK Prosecutors said Thursday that 18-year-old Manhattan resident Radames Santiago made threats against people at St. John's University in Queens. They say he referred to the 2007 campus massacre at Virginia Tech committed by a student.

Prosecutors say Santiago posted the messages on Monday and Tuesday. Users of the site who saw the messages reported them to St. John's officials, who contacted police.

Prosecutors say Santiago was arraigned Wednesday on one count of making a terroristic threat. A judge ordered him held on $6,000 bond or $2,000 cash bail.
