LIE reopened in both directions

The truck apparently careened into the center wall of the highway, forcing an extended cleanup between exits 32 and 33.

Eyewitness News is told four other cars were also involved in the crash, but no serious injuries were reported.

Westbound lanes were closed for hours for a spill cleanup, while one eastbound lane was closed an hour after the crash.

Officials say both the westbound and eastbound lanes have since been reopened.
