Rescuers have recovered the body of Clifton Maloney, husband of New York Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney, who died on a mountain climbing expedition in the Himalayas. Global Rescue, a private company that provides search and rescue services worldwide, said in a statement Monday that the 71-year-old's body was recovered from the slopes of Cho Oyu, the world's sixth highest mountain straddling the border of Nepal and Tibet. The company said the remains were en route to Katmandu where it will be prepared for transport to the U.S.

The millionaire investment banker and avid climber was resting in a high-altitude camp after a successful ascent to the summit last Thursday when he unexpectedly died.
