UConn stabbing suspect due in court

VERNON, Conn. (AP) John Lomax III is charged with murder and conspiracy to commit assault and is due back in court on Friday. He is being held on a $2 million bond and has not entered a plea.

Prosecutors say several witnesses have identified him as the Killer of 20-year-old Jasper Howard.

Five other people face charges related to the Oct. 18 fight outside UConn's student union and its aftermath, but so far authorities have not released a motive for the stabbing.

The arrest warrants in the case have been sealed.
