Police: NY bank teller directed man to rob branch

CORAM, N.Y. Suffolk County police say the bank teller and the man had agreed to meet up after the robbery on Sunday and split the loot.

Now the 25-year-old employee of the Citizens Bank branch in Coram and a 51-year-old day laborer face charges of grand larceny.

Police say the bank teller met the laborer earlier in the morning and drove him to the bank.

They agreed that he would demand the cash and that she would feign being robbed before handing over a package of money.
