Police say the attackers jumped out of a car on Franklin Avenue, where the victims were standing.
Authorities say the man grabbed the girls, 16-year-old Shantayah Lewis and 15-year-old Shaquina Grant, and held them down.
The woman allegedly slashed Lewis repeatedly in the face, then stabbed Grant.
Both girls suffered serious injuries.
