Woman's body discovered next to Queens cemetery

CAMBRIA HEIGHTS A passerby discovered the victim, an unidentified Hispanic woman, along Francis Lewis Boulevard and 228th Street just before 2 a.m. Thursday.

The unconscious woman was rushed to Queens General Hospital, but pronounced dead.

The gruesome discovery was made next to Montefiore Cemetery.

Police have yet to determine whether the woman was dumped or attacked on the scene.

The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death, although detectives say it is obviously suspicious.
