Suspect wanted in South Bronx shooting

Police released these photos of a gunman wanted in the shooting of a 33-year-old man in the South Bronx on May 3, 2010.

Police are searching for the gunman who shot and wounded a man in the South Bronx Monday. It happened around 1:10pm on Brook Avenue.

Police say the gunman fired his weapon into a doorway and hit a 33-year-old man multiple times.

The victim was rushed to Lincoln Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

The suspect is described as a man in his 20's, with a large build, a beard, and a mustache.

The suspect was last seen wearing dark pants, dark sweatshirt with white sneakers and a dark cap.
