Seven dogs fortunate to get a second chance at life are arriving on Long Island Tuesday.

They were rescued from a dog shoot in Canada by the International Fund for Animal Welfare.

At least 29 other dogs have already been adopted.

The rest will go to the North Shore Animal League in Port Washington, where they will hopefully all find new homes.
